In planning the bus shelter in front of the station, the proposal for a shelter utilizing the characteristics of membrane structures — such as architectural freedom, brightness, and lightness — was evaluated and adopted.
The position of the bus stop is uniquely expressed through a soft, deformed design characteristic of tent materials, creating a
distinctive visual impact from above.
While it was more challenging to produce than a typical shelter, the final design significantly enhances the area in front of the station.
At Yamaguchi New Shelter Industry, we propose membrane structure architecture that enhances the cityscape and provides an enjoyable view for onlookers.
